Members of the Maison Emmanuel Centre Educatif community have been stewards and developers of the farmland and forest on which they reside for the past 40 years. Many of the “villagers” (community members) are adults with disabilities that have grown up along the organization. Here, they find purpose and fulfillment through meaningful social and community roles each day.

Les membres de la communauté du Centre Éducatif Maison Emmanuel ont été les gardiens et les développeurs des terres agricoles et forestières sur lesquelles ils résident depuis 40 ans. Beaucoup des “villageois” (membres de la communauté) sont des adultes en situation de handicap qui ont grandi au sein de l’organisation. Ici, ils sont intégrés dans des rôles sociaux et communautaires significatifs, chaque jour.

Ce nouveau bâtiment sert la riche vie sociale de la communauté en offrant un espace où les membres de la communauté et les visiteurs peuvent se rassembler.
